3. William Nethersole Godwin. William Nethersole died on 10 5 1885 in 10 Castle Street, Chester, Cheshire. Buried on 14 5 1885 in Overleigh Cemetery, Chester, Cheshire. Occupation: Clicker (1846), Cordwainer (1871), Cutter Boot and Shoe Trade (1881), Cordwainer (1884-1885).
On 20 10 1836 William Nethersole married Martha Meeson, daughter of John Meeson & Mary Brookes, in St Bartholomew, Wednesbury. Martha died in 1891.
They had the following children: 4 i. William James (1837-1919) ii. Hester (Esther). Born in 9 1838 in Stafford, Staffordshire.

9 viii. Andrew Nixon (1848-1934) ix. Thomas. Born on 24 7 1851 in Union Buildings, Stafford. Thomas died in Chester, Cheshire on 30 3 1879, he was 27. Buried on 3 4 1879 in Overleigh Cemetery, Chester, Cheshire. Occupation: Clerk to Barrister (1871).
